Our hat's off to Scot

For putting on one heck-of-a motorcycle movie night last night. His diligent research in finding movies not yet viewed by other club members paid off in a big way. Great food, beverages and a mighty fine way to spend an evening with the best motorcycling friends ever.... Now, has anyone seen my left sock?

Now that we have a couple of adventure bike types in our midst

I thought this may be worth posting. What a way to spend a fall weekend up on the North Shore.

Minnesota North Shore Shindig Adventure/Dual Sport Riding
What: Adventure Motorcycle Rally In The Minnesota Northwoods.
When: September 10-13 2015
Where: Wildhurst Campground, Finland, MN (218) 353-7337

If you expect to see Steve McQueen there, you probably won't. But if he did show, he'd ride this bike.

Today's cheap thrill provided by this guy.....

And since I just bought a Tiger.....

I thought that this may be relevant and fun to watch. And shut up you naysayers about me being a shill for Triumph; whore is more my style.

Random Walt Rides of the past. In photos, no less.

Walt Ride 2015... What? Already?

Here is the tentative outline for Walt Ride '15. Standby for details......

June 5: Depart Red Wing for Fond Du Lac (sleep on Mark's front lawn).
June 6: Road America for AHRMA races/events
June 7: TBD
June 8: TBD
June 9: Return to Red Wing/home.

The TBD can be camping again in Richland Center, Wis., which is at the epicenter of the ABC twisty stuff sorta riding that we love. Or New Glarus (there's a lot of beer there). Or some other locale we have not visited, like East Beloit.

Go here for race details: 20 bucks for the day: cheap.

Since we are gathering at Scot's Saturday for motorcycle movie night, we can further discuss the TBD stuff.

Here is map of where we will travel:

Amish hookers

As per usual, whenever we talk riding Wisconsin, the Amish Hookers always come up in the discussion. Food for thought:

Motorcycle Movie Night February: the details

Motorcycle Movie Night is February 21st at Scot's. Plan for a rip roaring time. Social hour starts at 6:30 with movies at 7:30. That will give us all plenty of time to imbibe and snack a bit before the main feature "Road to Polamo" followed by "Ride with the Wind". Let me know if you can make it! Oh yes, there may be an appearance by a very special guest.

Could these guys very well be the special guests?

Go here to catch the Last Revel on the 89.9 The Current's webpage for an in studio performance.

Vinnie, the bass and fiddle player, is my boy's roomie in the Cities. This is a great band to see live. Go catch them NOW.
