Pick Yer Poison...

Sure, you could stay home on Saturday and do all kinds of drudgery around the house to make that special someone all happy. Or, damn it all, stick it to the man; do your own thing and head for Minneapolis for the Progressive Bike Show at the Convention Center. The poison choice breaks down as such:
1) Stay around the house, be miserable doing chores and assorted projects for the wifey, hear all about your sister-in-law and her assorted problems, clean dog shit outta the basement because your stoopid kid can't or won't do it; hear more stories about your wifey's co-worker's new baby (booooring) and be stuck watching a romantic comedy, followed by even more misery.
2) Go to the bike show, have a blast and get yelled out much later in the day when you get home, by which time you will not care.

(Hint hint.... number two is your best choice.)

The plan is such: Caribou at 10 on Saturday for coffee and cheap talk; head to Mpls. around 11 or so; bike show; a crocky or two afterward, and after that? Who knows.

Follow these guys to Mpls on Saturday. They are going to the bike show.

From the Dept of Misinformation

Plans are afoot for 2020 riding season, which did officially start on Dec.22, the first day of spring. First things first; any day that is sorta warm with clear roads, we're riding. Outside of that, we have a few events in the hopper.
1) Mama Tried Motorcycle Show in Milwaukee on March 13-15. Speak up if you are in and let the Ring Master of Fun-Du-Lake know soon. We need a head count. Also, the Friday indoor flat track racing is a hoot. The Devo guy and the chicken racer we're the best to watch at last year's event.

2) Single track adventure riding at Huntersville, MN is on the book for May 15-17. Yes, this is a dual sport event with dirt, mud and such. Our man Douglas is said Ring Master of that event. Ride all day, stay in his cabin at night. Drink beer, tell stories and brag about stuff that never really happens in our dull lives.

3) Walt Ride 2020 is on the calendar for June 11-14. Short one this year to accommodate all. Destination likely western Wisconsin twisties into Iowa. Iowa? Iowa? Damn straight, Sparky.

Be on standby for more to come. Otherwise......

Motorcycle Movie Night this Saturday

Oh my, the first one of the New Year at Little Timmy's. Also, it is a BYOB Event (Bring Yer Own Bourbon) Yes, bring your favorite or un-favorite bottle of bourbon (or other whiskey) for a round or two of tasting. Please note: showing up with a cheap-ass bottle of Stab-n-Kill will result in expulsion from the Red Wing Ironworks Motorbike Club and being duct taped to a tree. Mayhem starts at 7 p.m. Bring what you will, Cletus.

What People Did Today...

Some road motorcycles......

New Year's day polar bear plunged in Milwaukee.
