Our man in the field reports from down below

This just in from Brazil.....

Today spent a bunch of time in the village of Corrego Da Luz, Brazil, a small town  about 90 miles east of Rio de Janeiro.

It turns out this place is huge for people who like off road riding in the muggy, thick forested hills. During our interviews with those who contracted yellow fever, you could hear good exhaust notes in the hills. When these riders passed us on the road later, these guys were all wearing chest protectors, boots, helmets, gloves etc.

This bar is where they meet and hang out. I left a few cards there, but everyone speaks only Portuguese.

A few from the North Shore Shindig in Finland, MN

Yep, it's way up there in the Arrowhead. For those of you who don't know what that is; it's the pointy area of northern Minnesota along Lake Superior. And there is a shit ton of gravel, fire roads, single track - and thanks to a lot of rain -a lot of mud and puddles. Fun as hell? Ya, you betcha. Am I tired this Sunday eve? Ya, you betcha. A good time was had by all.

You like Junior. Everyone should go see Junior.

So let it be written, so let it be done.

It is hereby proclaimed that the riding season officially started today. That is all from the high command.
