It was a swell day at the ol' motorcycle show....
Sir Robert, Christian and myself took it in yesterday at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Sure, there were the usual suspects present and accounted for, but alas, no Triumph or BMW, and some smaller outfits not represented (Guzzi, KTM....Stooopid economy.) Anyhow, Sir Rob and I volunteered three hours to help promote the National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa, Iowa. Our job was to hand out brochures, stickers, and talk up the museuem, steer people to the raffle for a '47 Knucklehead replica bike, and to get them through the display. We also chatted up the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association event at Road America on June 11-12. Rob, ever the schmooozer, meet a couple of riders who have an interest in joining in on the fun with the IronWorks club this summer. Now if we could only get rid of that stupid snow. Anyhow, it was good and we had an excellent time, and we received a free museum t-shirt for our effort and I bought a really cool old racing poster for the man-cave.
