Saturday, Dec. 13 is the second motorcycle movie night of the 2014-15 season and some good stuff will be on tap for the eve. Can you say documentaries? I know you could. Be at Bill's by 7 p.m. for a round of cocktails, socializing and as per usual, lots of swear words.

Tim selected "Litte Fauss and Big Halsy", a 1970 classic with Robert Redford. We also viewed the documentary "Brittown" about some dudes on the west coast who ride Triumphs.

Tin enjoys the night's feature film as his Uncle Blutto looks over his shoulder.

Tis the season for......Motorcycle Movie Night, ya bastards

The first installment of the season will be this Saturday, Saturday, Saturday at Little Timmy's; shit starts at 7 p.m. All the stops will be pulled on this one; Tim reports a special movie on tap for the evening. There could be nudity; there could be explosions and there will be cuss words (mostly from me.) But one thing is certain, there will be a freaking motorcycle. As usual, bring what you will, Clarence.

To Dodger, one of the best dogs, ever

 Our dog of 15 years was put down today; Age finally caught up to Dodger, and it was time to see him off. He now rests in a beautiful spot on Windbeam Farms over looking a rolling field and trees beyond. He was truly one of the best dogs a family could have.

Don't forget....

Next Saturday is the 89th annual Red Wing Ironworks Motorbike Club's Octoberfest/Big Burn party.
There will be:
- a keg of Rush River Unforgiven amber ale
- food, probably
- hula girls
- entertainment (our stoopid conversations are always entertaining)
- a firework display that will rival the Fourth of July (not really)
- art work to be burned (tis true)
- 10 bands will be playing the main stage for your musical pleasure (not true).
- free autographs from George Clooney (also not true).
- wit, wisdom, great motorcycle tales, and as usual, lots of cussin' and smart talk.

The forecast for weather is sun and probably in the low 60s. What a freaking deal.

And as usual, if you don't like good beer and need to drink foo foo stuff, bring what you will, Clarence.

Cycle World visits Red Wing.

The October 2014 issues of Cycle World features an article (page 18) on the new Indian Roadmaster  motorcycle. Big deal, you say; we're sport touring types around here.  Scoff all ye want, but the article makes mention of riding the bike through Red Wing and includes a picture of the bike in front of our historic clubhouse (ark ark ark ark...), the Ironworks building along the water front. Look closely and you'll see Red Wing's famous flower baskets and the St. James in the background. There is also a nice picture of the bike at one of the rest stop/overlooks down river. Though the author of the story, Mark Hoyer (also Editor In Chief of the magazine), contacted none of us for insight to local roads and scenic routes, good beer and or coffee, we'll catch him next time around.
