Little Timmy's Voodoo Lounge is closed for the season. Boohoo. On the upside, it's getting time for motorcycle movie night. We've got locales for the first two, and for February; the rest are up for grabs.

Alex "Crankshaft" Larson playing the Barrel House in Red Wing (one of our fav crocktail hangouts) next Friday. That's Nov. 3, boys and girls. You'd be stoopid not to come out: all the cool kids will there.  Get a permission slip from yer Ma. This dude sings great tunes about being a gearhead, riding motorsickles and such.

And if that ain't enough for you, on Saturday  Nov. 4 it's the Caravan Du Nord at the Sheldon Theater. Yep, we're going. Don't be no punk, get some tickets and come on down.

Farewell, Gord

It's no secret that we like music and we've been known to promote it here once and a while, and we've been known to spin some vinyl at our off-season gatherings. On that note, rock and roll lost one of its greatest singers/frontman last night. Gord Downie of the Tragically Hip passed after fighting brain cancer since 2015. Our favorite from the Hip is the album "Up To Here." Find it and play it loud. In the meantime, enjoy this short:
