In This Month's AARP Rider.....

Just released today... Harley-Davidson unveils marketing plan to sell more bikes to its long established sales focus on older riders....

Ok, so it's a sport bike Depend. We noticed already.

In the meantime, you can read this too, I suppose:

Photo Odds & Ends of the Past Week

Just stuff.

Someone's new Honda 250 arrived. It's so clean.

Pumper carb install work. Fuel injection? Yeah, right.

We like beer. Our favorite brewery is having a party to celebrate.
Imagine that; it is only a half hour away.

Proof God loves motorsickles.

Road map good for getting to Missouri

A little break after ripping around on the gravel roads.

Flat Track Mayhem

Had us a swell time at the State Fairgrounds catching some Indoor Flat Track action. Good crowd, good venue and good action all around. If you ain't never seen inside flat track racing, catch it some time. These guys and girls haul ass around a very short concrete track (typically a hockey arena). Few pics to enjoy this AM.

What To Do On A Friday Night?

This:

http://indoorflattrack.com/

Yep, go catch some indoor flat track action this eve in St. Paul. How a hockey arena should be used. Or you could stay home, play bingo with your cat and then watch documentaries about birds. You pick option two, all respect is lost.

The Prodigal Suit Has Returned

And on the first day of Spring, no less. Sent my Roadcrafter suit back to the mothership in Duluth for a tune up (take that as minor repairs from years of use). It returned today in tip top shape and ready to ride. Can't say it looked "new" but pretty damn close. Also re-soled my Combat Touring boots with a new pair of Sidi bottoms that look more dirt/gravel oriented. Was glad to say bye bye to the cleated bottoms.

Rumors Are Afoot

There could be some riding this Saturday. Forecast is mid-ish 50s. Sun. Yeah, buddy. Coffee session at Caribou, say 1030 AM? A good day for bringing out the dual sporties.

Back In The Saddle

Yep, my first ride in seven months post accident (wasn't on a motorcycle, either. Stooopid bicycle. But two wheels is two wheels, right?) Short and sweet. But damn it, I think it needs a new battery. Gonna be nice this Saturday. Game on for another.

Orange in the back is a lawn ornament. Tis true.

When visiting Minneapolis; eat here. In the Seward 'hood.Good food.

From Dept. of Stuff to Read

Nice article in Cycle World, spring edition, of the Green Beast. Yep, I owned one and miss it dearly. Sure, there was faster, better and more high tech: but this bike was respected every which way in what it could do.

A Few for Someone's Birthday Today...

Our Man In The Field hits one today. Yippeeee, and it is on a Friday, too.

Red Wing or Colorado? Can't remember. Looks the same, though.

When not riding a motorcycle, Mark tends to the field. In his Farmer-Stich.

When strange things drop from trees in Wisconsin.

The official beer of any birthday.Or Walt Ride. Or anything else, for that matter.

Pop Cycle Derby Mayhem

Sir Robert captured a third-place finish in the 2019 Pop Cycle Derby on Saturday. Despite the cold, a good time was had by all.

Riding motorcycles? Looked more like an ice fishing tournament.
