Scenes From Moto Collective Gathering

A great way to have a beer, catch up and talk shop about all-things motorcycles. They do that on the fourth Friday of the month during the summer at the Moto Collective in NE Minneapolis. Unfortunately, this was last call for the summer fun. (See ya next summer). However, Motosota is coming up Sept. 7 at Bau Haus Brew Labs in Mpls, one of our favorite places to drink beer, and a good place to visit with the Moto Collective crew again.

Evel came close to hitting the deer.

Zero dropped off a couple of bikes. Rumor was for a photo shoot to promote the brand.

Lots of stuff to see on the walls.

Scooters and Little Timmy.

Typical work area with a project in the works, of course.

If you haven't been, Motor Collective is great place to visit.

Wanna make the best rest room? Hang motorcycle posters.

The Z-1's evil brother. He's naughty.

Triumph right?

North & South. We Got It Covered

Our  intrepid explorers did ride yesterday to the most northern location in the lower 48 states. And, yes, it is in Minnesota. To get to the Northwest Angle by motorcycle, you need to pass through Canada. Just an FYI: there are more trees and fishing boats than people up that way. Meanwhile, down south and across the other border, another friend of ours went out for a nice ride near his home in Mexico. Wow, that's three countries at once.

When Traveling to Elkhart Lake...

...hit gear head nirvana at the Throttlestop, a consignment shop for cars and motorcycles of the fancy ilk. We hit this place up for a gander on our way to the vintage racing. Unless you have deep, deep pockets or just won the lottery, you are, my friend, nothing more than a garden-variety tire kicker. But what the hell? Looking is free. Therefore, go kick yourself silly with these images.
