This guy Grom'ed it through Red Wing on, yes, a Honda Grom. I wish I never sold my Honda Metropolitan scooter: I thought it would be bad-ass-cool-mofo to do a SaddleSore 1000 on a .49 cc scoot. Problem is; it only topped out at 20 mph. That would be a whooping 480 miles in 24 hours. Damn.

Snooze Run Yesterday

Yep.... Samey-same Harley's and gener-o cruisers (will give props to the Red Wing guy driving around on a vintage Knucklehead, tho. That's whut we like to see...), doo-rags, vestie-things with skull patches and dudes wearing girlie back-pocket jeans they borrowed from their older sister. And not a soul on any twisty back roads except for the one woman on a sport bike. You get props, too, girl, for getting away from those who don't know what a turn is. Yeah, yeah, we like to mock the mockery of what it truly means to ride a motorcycle.

It Ain't Over Yet

Though Motosota was a swell time last night that bids adieu to summer (not yet, my friends. Just saying...), as usual it was a good gathering of bikes, beer and music at Bauhaus Brew Labs in NE Mpls. Lots of bikes to see, lots of peeps to visit with. A few pics to enjoy. (No time for captions this morning: make up yer own story....)
