Little Timmy's New Riding Boot

High protection? Yah, you betcha. Light weight? Nope. Contributes to a summer of reading motorcycle-porn? Sure thing. The downside; no riding for rest of the season. The upside; free rides around town; no grass to mow or other house projects, and free beer. And, yes, this was a "motorcycle" mishap; twisted and cracked lower leg while rolling up garden hose after washing, of all things, motorcycle.

Walt Ride, Part 2

Yet in more..... pictures.

A his-n-hers set of Honda scoots that hit the Dragon.

Yep,I got me a sticker there.

Who knew the Food Line sold motorsickle helmets?

The highest point of the trip and we were there.

Good to see Minnesota included in this
microscopic map of the Smokey Mountains.
We used it to find our way back home

Oddly, this thing was at a BBQ place. The stuff you
find in Tennessee is entertaining.
Waiting for the work crew to clean - yes - rocks.
At the highest point in Tennessee. Looking down.

These 125cc tend to haul some ass on the tight and twisty stuff.

More Pictures?

Ya, you betcha. From today's Blind Lizzard gathering on Nicollet Island in the fair city of Minneapolis. Enjoy.

Nice 1950 BSA

Nice 19XX Vincent. Sorry, no year known to me.

Firing up the BSA for the ride home. This cat has owned it for a long, long time.

To think I see it all on Mulberry Street. I did not, actually.

You like vintage stuff, come here to check it out. but you'll need to wait until next year.

When it's time to go, this is your bridge. It, too, is vintage.

Ohh, look: another BSA.

Walt Ride Pictures; Round One

Stuff that happened from here to there..

Mr, Happy took another burn.

The union mandated riding break somewhere in Illinois.

The Executive Committee at work on where to stay upon arrival in Paducah, Ky. Which, by the way, is the quilt capital of the US.

Scenic scene by the Land Between the Lake National Recreation area on the Kentucky/Tennessee line.

Where crashed bits and pieces go at the Tail of the Dragon.

This elder BMW made it to Tennessee and the Beamer rally from Cleveland, Ohio. A very good city, indeed.

Walt Ride 19 HQ in Maryville, TN.

More Killboy.com fame. Brett worker the corners on the Tail of the Dragon.

Christian's Africa Twin, imported from Atlanta.
