Old Stuff That Moves Fast

Found plenty of that at the AHRMA races this past weekend at Road 'Merica in Elkhart Lake, Wis., which, by the way, ain't no cheese capital of Wisconsin. It is the place for gear heads. More about that in tomorrow's posting, I am sure. Until then, here is a ton o' pix to oggle.

Even the Canadians showed up.

Perhaps one of the rarest and most expensive bikes I've had the pleasure of seeing up front: The Britten. Only 10 were made, and here is one of them. This bike was ahead of its time 30 years ago, and still is.

Who does not like a Bultaco?

Steve McQueen replica that is well done.

Lining up for the track. You get a great mixed of bikes in every AHRMA race.

This Norton was a beast. Man, it had an exhaust howl that was dead sexy.

Loved the BSA.

Old my ass; these cats can still drop knees.

Say what you will, Cletus, but green is all good.

Guzman? Say what? Bueller? Bueller?  Anyone?

Is Wes Cooley in the house? Found your superbike.

Were the shit happens: in the paddock.

Triumph 675 that looked marvey That is code word for marvelous.

More green bikes. Imagine that.
