Other people get to do fun stuff. Missed out on Motosota, flat track racing and the European bike show.... The best we got is one from flat track at Cedar Lake Speedway and this stuff from Northfield.

Stuff to do NEXT weekend

If you get bored next weekend, it's your fault.... 

1) Motosota: farewell summer event: Sept. 24 at Bauhaus Brew Labs, Mpls.

2) European Bike Gathering, Sept. 24 at Contended Cow, Northfield; Runs from 3p.m to 6 pm

3) American Flat Track Racing: Sept. 24, New Richmond, Wis; Cedar Lake Speedway; 7 PM

Stoopid stuff from today's ride.....

 As usual, all the back roads are dead ass empty on the fall flood run. Normal riding until we hit both Wisconsin 35 and Minnesota 61 and it is the usual same-old-same-old. We did stop for coffee in Bay City and sat out on the front porch watching others ride by; the official the doo rag count is 157 per minute with a percentile of 93 per 100.

Flood Run check list for Saturday

1) Goatee

2) Scowl

3) Doo-rag with the following;

    1) An eagle 

    2) A wolf (preferred howling at the moon.)

    3) A patriotic slogan

    4) Other rambling non-sense too small to read or care about. (Maybe boasting of recent trip to                        Sturgis?)

4) Jeans purchased by wife/girlfriend from Limited Express with sparkly festooned back pockets.

5) One half-empty can of Bud Light to be carried around all day

6) One WWII German Wehrmacht infantry helmet (only for those that wear helmets.)

7) One pair of fingerless gloves

8) One cruiser motorcycle, black in color, highlighted with skull paintings

9) One t-shirt with the eagle, or wolf, or patriotic slogan, etc., etc., etc., blah blah blah

10) One small dog riding with doo-rag, goatee and scowl

At Bau Haus BrewLabs in Nord'east Mpls. Not the end, tho. Motosota is coming up on Sept. 24. As usual, a good time was had by all. Random photos as random could be.
