Crossing the Mississippi River on the ferry from Wisconsin to Lansing, Iowa, which is a swell place to visit, get gas, coffee, etc. etc. etc. The new bridge construction is moving along swimmingly. Until completed, the ferry rides across the Mississippi River are FREE. In this day and age, that is too good of a bargain to pass. Or, if you are a dope like me, and just like cheap thrills. Either way, have at it.
